The Hardrock Offroad H801 Famous Forged wheels are carved out of compressed and hardened aluminum. This method of wheel creation allows for denser and stronger material. This translates to less material needed to create a cast version of a similar design. The Hardrock H504 is a similar wheel using the cast method. While very similar visually, the H801 has a thinner barrel and the rear of the spokes are shaved. The results are a lighter yet stronger wheel. Each H801 is an eight-spoke wheel that splits the span just before the barrel. The wheel’s engineering creates an extremely solid form that creatively uses the branched openings to keep the wheel lighter at the barrel.
